Sean,
Great kit--can't think of ANYTHING else you could put in it. Just one note--when my THIRD baby announced her imminent arrival at 2 am, we shot out of the house so fast, that my husband didn't pick up the suitcase sitting in readiness by the door. On the elevator in the hospital, we realized he had his briefcase (in case he could do some work in the waiting room--this was WAY before daddies got to help!) but NOT my suitcase; we laughed so hard we were nearly hysterical, and the accompanying nurse was about ready to call security instead of taking me to the labor room!
So my best suggestion for your hospital kit is, "TAKE it with you!"
I believe you're now a couple of days past the "due" date (what a laughable idea that is!), so I'm thinking 'bout you lots
and hoping to hear great news soon. Lots of love and good wishes, Betsy

Sean - this is a great list and I can't think of a thing you forgot.

What I'd really like to see is a few weeks from now is a follow-up list to let us know what you actually used and what was provided by the hospital.

I can't wait to hear about you meeting your daughter.

Too right; thanks, Mel. Not by Judd, but interestingly not actually by Tina Fey or Amy Poehler either. The script was by the director according to IMDB, Mr. Michael McCullers.

You are too sweet for saying so, Mel. I certainly try. Stay tuned because I'm lining up guest bloggers for some more great and helpful topics for the RookieDads out there, like me. :)

Sean, sweet Jesu, you are my hero! So well thought out, all of it. Except Baby Mama isn't an Apetow vehicle, gotta give props to those women writers :) But seriously, I love you for doing this and I know Heather is more than pleased with her ready and willing hubby.
